Boobus americanus was the role I played today. I sat in front of the TV and watched a number of sports being conducted in the land of Greece.
A few thoughts:
- it would suck to run into the vault
- the Spanish channel commentators are more entertaining than Bob Costas
- Germany has some really ugly soccer players
- Female gymnasts should be required to wear a visible marker indicating their biological age, some of them have to be legal
- any event that requires subjective judging should be suspended until Professor Frink Approved Robots are created (seriously)
Ending, Mike Snyder, a news anchor from NBC 5 wins the Jingoist Statement of the Day Award (thus proving once again that the Olympics are totally political). The context was in regards to a lack of attendance to various events, Mike stated that something like that “wouldn’t happen in America.” With a straight face no less.
