I’m slightly behind the US pop culture curve but have managed to finally watch the viral “Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog.”
Sure it sounds cheesy, but it’s pretty creative and even kind of funny.
Neil Patrick Harris reminded me of the “versatile” roles that Justin Timberlake has been trying to branch out into (like his funny SNL skits).
And it was good to see one of my favorite Canadian actors, Nathan Fillion back in action (he was the captain in the short lived Firefly series).
On a slightly different note, but related to the zeitgeist, I recently watched Get Smart. It was decent in some parts (the lines Carell had on the airplane were pretty good), definitely one of the better live-action comedies in the past few years.
One of the tunes that was played a couple of times was kind of catchy. And guess who sang it? Timberlake along with Madonna and Timbaland: 4 Minutes.
