Will robots save Japan?

This is an interesting and thought provoking video regarding domestic robots in Japan, a country facing a demographic conundrum.

Be sure to also check out some traditional solutions from Jim Rogers regarding demographics in Japan and Korea.

It’s painless. It requires very little work. And you can finally have an excuse to wear a white lab coat.

All you need is a computer connected to the internet.

Everyone’s favorite Canadian quantum scientist has put together a project through BOINC, the distributed calculation organization out of Berkeley.

Geordie’s project is called AQUA and it hopes to answer “questions about the performance” of quantum monte carlo simulations that model adiabatic quantum algorithms. And hot quantum chicks.

Anyways, if you’ve done the RC5 code-cracking or SETI projects in the past, this is along the same lines, but with more utility (everyone knew that RC5 could be cracked and no one will ever find a SETI signal).

So, download the program (it runs in the background) and join team QUBA.

Check out his post for further instructions and prepare for quantum sexiness.
