flexing.jpgTim is a twentysomething conversational English teacher currently in mainland China. He has also held a similar positions in Seoul, Korea and Kaohsiung, Taiwan province.

He is a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2003, having completed his undergraduate studies at A&M in December of 2002 (BA in History & Economics).

In 2006 he completed a MS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Management, also from A&M. In addition he is a TEXES content-certified high school teacher and has worked on a M.Ed. with a specialty towards developing curriculum and instruction for students in the 8-12 grades (focusing primarily in the social sciences).

He was born and raised in Dallas, attended Richardson public schools and participated in numerous sporting, musical, academic, and technology-based endevours. He is the middle of five children and is an uncle two times over.

He has written a number of articles for the Ludwig von Mises Institute, LewRockwell.com, Antiwar.com and various other independent outlets that disappear faster than a woman on an awkward one-night stand. Along with Mike Ewens and David Veksler, he helped install and maintain blogging systems at Mises.org, LRC, AWC, and a number of other sites.

His technical research has been cited in dozens of blogs, op-eds and popularized by Slashdot, Digg and CNet — among others.

He enjoys satire, BET, the History Channel, Wikipedia, GPGPU, WiFi, football, rugby, observing the IT industry, and poking fun of dolts.

He was the founder and president of Collectrix LLC, an IT consulting firm that specialized in hosting and designing websites, weblogs and virtual store-fronts.

He is a member of the EAC and an avid libertarian that dabbles in the Austrian economic movement.

He currently does not have a dog, cat or exotic animal. Woe is he.
